I promised pictures, and so these are for those of you who haven't seen my feet

You know, you could probably work that Gothic Altar Lace as a knit patt. Maybe as knits & purls instead of filet crochet, I mean it's all on a grid so it really could work. Or crochet the lace as-is so it winds up like the camisole on http://vintagestitchorama.blogspot.com/2005/11/j-p-coats-yokes-and-gifts.html

Doesn't look like I've thought about this at all in the 15 years I've had this pattern, does it?
