The Muses vs The Stupidities

The Muses (from):

-Calliope (Calliopeia), the "Fair Voiced" and the eldest Muse, is the muse of epic poetry
-Clio the "Proclaimer" is the muse of history
-Erato the "Lovely" is the muse of love poetry and mimicry
-Euterpe the "Giver of Pleasure" is the muse of music
-Melpomene the "Songstress" is the muse of tragedy
-Polyhymnia (Polymnia), "She of Many Hymns," is the muse of Sacred Poetry
-Terpsichore the "Whirler" is the muse of dancing
-Thalia (Thaleia) the "Flourishing" is the muse of comedy and of playful and idyllic poetry
-Urania the "Heavenly" is the muse of astronomy

The Stupidities (gleaned from years of observation):

-Turnturdia the "Moronic" is the stupidity of traffic, who delights in those who signal a left turn and then turn right.
-Dogmarrhea (Bocapedo) the "Leaker of Words" is the stupidity of those who vocally support a failed cause long past its expiration date. Revels in the gleeful banter of Bush loyalists.
-Ironiakaputia the "Over-understander" is the stupidity of choice for those who just can not understand sarcasm.
-Yeehawnia the "reckless" is the stupidity of Texas
-Notmypreciousdarlingse the "Incompetent" is the stupidity for people who let their kids run wild, and then when something goes wrong, blame others
-Whoopsididitagaine (Britney) the "Repetitive" is the stupidity of people who fail to learn from their mistakes
-Phoneyappe the "Remover of Pleasure" is stupidity of endless, loud, and pointless cell phone conversations. Especially in the movie theater or from the next bathroom stall.
-Compulsonia the "Nitpicker of the trivial" and "Permabitcher" is the stupidity of those who need to get every useless detail right but fail to grasp the big picture. And for those who complain endlessly about irrelevant nonsense.
-Pothole the "Bumpy" is the other stupidity of traffic. Because one just isn't enough.
