Calmer but still anxious

So it looks as though my dad's surgery will be later this month. It's a meningioma, which tend to be benign, though they push on the brain and have to be removed. I'm still pretty anxious about the surgery, but I've been feeling reassured after hearing stories from many people about their relatives' successful brain surgeries.

In any case, good thoughts are still appreciated, of course! Thank you again to those of you who commented before.
