All of the panic-mongering over a supposed bird flu epidemic is bullshit. This is consensus at a very well respected school of public health. Sure, there is some risk, but there are plenty of other things that pose much higher risks.

So why all the fuss and talk of quarantine, medicine stockpile, billions of dollars, etc., etc.? A question good for thinking.
