fragmented updates from a tired girl

-So as Xolo has mentioned, another dog will be joining our family. A female ex-racing greyhound. Name suggestions still welcome..

-My best friend from growing up called to say she is having a baby! I think this is great and that she'll make a wonderful mother, but the whole thing kind of freaks me out/makes me feel (again) old!

-When she called, I started to go on and on about the new dog, and then I asked her what's up. Sort of similar news, she said... uhhh, I guess.

-I am taking an ultra-intensive biostatistics class, and it starts tomorrow. I have been calling it "biostats indoctrination camp"
